Quite honestly they are really dull and confusing for simple minded people like me.

These are amongst the most annoying games I have ever played (yes...even more annoying then Cluedo).

If a guy wants to know if a girl likes him, why does he have to talk about other girls in front of her to see her reaction? Why can't he just ask?

Sure it may be scary to ask out of fear of rejection, but if this was the way it had always been then rejection would never have been such a fearful thing. If people had always asked straight questions and got straight answers then these mind games would have been more like Sudoku instead of Snakes and Ladders.

If you get the number wrong in Sudoku you can just change it to the right number and carry on from where you were, whereas in Snakes and Ladders you have to build yourself up to the level you once were, which, (if the rejection is painful enough, or your self esteem low enough) may take years.

Theres always the age old argument:

"But the games make it fun!!"

Fun for people like you, that are good at it. For people like me, it's a bit like Year 11 Netball all over again. You may be good at the game so it's fun for you but I'm not. I was always picked last by Charmaine (netball captain), and I'm always picked last by Cupid. And trust me when I say, neither are 'fun'.

♥
